There’s power in letting go. Take your hands off the wheel and say, “Okay, God. I’m going to let You drive. You know the best path for my life. You can see the detours, the dead ends. You know the shortcuts. God, I’m going to let You take me where You want me to go.” That’s a very freeing way to live.

You see, I don’t think you understand. I’m not like every other ‘Christian’ out there. I’m not the typical Sunday church-goer or the Christmas Bible reader. I desire to be radical, to return to the root of Christianity, to become what the church was meant to be. From the depths of my soul, I want to change the world, I want to turn the American church upside down and show them what true love it. I want to start a revolution. I want to break the bounds of apathy and refuse to conform to the ways of the world. THIS is what Christianity is. Following Christ is more than a weekend deal; it’s more than a holiday idea. We must take up our crosses, lay down our lives and be willing to be radically in love and on fire for Jesus Christ.
I want to make an impact and fulfill God’s purpose for my life. I want to see our generation as it become so freakin’ in love with Christ.

I want to be a Proverbs 31 woman.
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness… ‘There are many virtuous women in the world, but you surprass them all!’ “
“Charm is deceptive and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.”

I cried.
I have so much respect for Coca Cola after watching this video. In grad school, I spent my last year interviewing parents who left the Philippines and families in order to make money to provide a better life for everyone back home. I couldn’t imagine the sacrifice. Imagine leaving everyone you know and love to work in a foreign land just so your family could afford school or medicine. It’s a tough life, and it’s one that millions of Filipinos are living right now, all over the world.

My goodness this got me balling! Especially because my family means so much to me. I just think that it’s beautiful that they’re recognizing people who work so hard and sacrifice so much just so that their families could live a little easier. MUCH respect to OFWs for doing what they do.
I love this. I’m speechless.
